I think this is a really bad time for habbo to be doing this... They are going thru so many problems as it is, the last thing they need are more people to the hotel

They must be desperate...
I wouldnt say they are desperate, maybe a little but I think this is a great move by sulake :D, it will bring in so many more players... I thought the hotel was popular before, now it will be amazingly popular, and the web is the best place to advertise it, becuz people are alredy online :p

Yeah great more people, all my old friends get pushed out and new ones come, yay. Not to mention all the lag. ;/
Indeed, But why advertise, when they produce such a poor service for their existing customers?

Sorry for the double post but i totally agree with that, why advertise the hotel when the current consumers are not happy? I think they should have waited until they had sorted out the mess before advertising habbo to others.

Seems weird they are advertising on a company that is filtered on habbo :S
I've also seen a habbo advert on mtv.com ages ago, i think i saved it on my pc *Looks*
Indeed, Sulake aren't planning theirselfs out, They are becoming greedy and eventually will run theirselfs out of business [I hope]

That is strange because they do not allow use of thw wrd MSN on habbo and totally discourage users to add each other or whatever yet they are advertising on their site. Good point.
I think they only discard the Msn Messenger, as there are alot of pedos who would go around pretending to be 15, and face it, Some people aren't that bright and just say 'text me, My numbers *blah blah* and just play into that persons hand, however Msn.com does over other things such as news and a search engine, I don't think habbo would have a problem with that.

I doubt it was advertising, it was just a glitch left there from before.
Habbowood has just started about 2 weeks :p so its not really a glitch, However it could be, as we were told round one of Habbowood was closing, which was about 3 days ago

This is a great way of advertising but there is one thing. You cant even say MSN on habbohotel. So will they change that because the site is advertising for them?
Not really, They probably will end up making it harder to say MSN like filter MSM or M's'n, M:S:N stuff like that :p

They're advertising more due to the great fall in numbers.
Yea but face it, The number will go up for what, 6months to a year, the numbers will fall again, no doubt! Once people see how Habbo have BAD customer service, and everything else, The word is bound to spread a about, If they want to waste money to advertise let them, Because sooner or later, they money they spend on advertisements isn't going to roll back into their pockets.

Well Habbo cant just shut down and stop its campains which take ages to plan just because of some scripting.
Also it is a stupid way to advertise Habbo Hotel when they have and will allways tell people not to use msn and hotmail. Its not that they hate Microsoft, well many do. Its because their security is poor.

What makes me laugh is. You're not meant to to give out your msn address if you have one right? Fair enough, but they're advertising on an msn site! This would result in those users who use msn.co.uk or whereever they found ad, in giving out their email addresses on the chatsite (Habbohotel)
I think I didn't make sense there, but I think you get the general idea.

It might be that sulake contracted out he advertising to a banner add comapny that advertise to set sites based on age. You have to give your age when ya open a msn account so that is used to direct age related advertising relevent to you. It is possible sulake dont even know that their add is appearing on msn. Just that they were told it would appear on sites aimed at children.

What habbo needs is to spend more money on Customer Service and REAL PAID EMPLOYEE'S instead of useless pro bono hobba's. If it takes them an average of a month to respond to a 1 line email, I believe adding more users to the game will make the already hated customer relations aspect of habbo a non existent department.
