Hey, just a poll to see who will agree with this.
Basically this is a proposal to add a new usergroup after Platinum - Platinum Plus. We don't know what features will be in it but just a general census of who would agree with this? Vote in the poll, cheers :)

Would be nice to have another group after platinum but I don't agree on giving extra features seeing as it's giving away all the VIP privileges you're supposed to get and there's not many of them now anyway.

I think there should be one more group, above platinum. Not exactly "PP", but another rank for people who have managed to get outside the 15,000 post mark, maybe even 20,000. Give them a few more features, or even just most VIP features, as a reward for activity on the Forum.
Obviously, very few would make it that far, however.
Alkaz

I think it should be 15 or 20k like you said kev, not many people get that so its something to really aim for to get something special.

You could always go back to old highest. Habbox legend. However, i think it in some ways could be used to undermine others.
No because you can't even suggest any further features so what's the point?
Diamond Member?

Diamond is one of the few things that can go above Platinum, but it's difficult to do a colour for "Diamond".
Blue Sapphire was one of my original ideas when this system was done before, as a possible 6th idea. This would slot in, if I remember rightly, underneath Ruby membership. :)
Obviously with this idea, it would mean moving the post counts up for Ruby & Platinum!

Just my personal opinion but is it actually needed? If you want more features then buy VIP =/ Other than the features I don't really see a point to this :S

Diamond colouring is easy, blues, silvers, pale silvers and whites. You draw a diamond shape, do the pattern, then shade in areas blue, white etc. Would be good too, considering stars are the usual looks, while this would be gem/diamond shaped.
I think it's a good idea, posting is a ranking system, and loads of people are way into the platinum group that it's worth thinking about a new group higher than that. Afterall, they are long time members and with that many posts (15,000/20,000), they are sure to of contributed in some way, including how long they've been members etc. I still like the idea of Habbox Legends though, for people like jrh, MissAlice (who won't be close to a diamond/platinum plus ranking, which she deserves for contributing in actions, rather than words) and any other random people.

I hadn't realised you can become a member of the forum, and be platinum by 6 months and 5000 posts. I don't see a problem really with the number of posts, but I do think the number of days you need to be a registered member to achieve these ranks is possibly too low.
Here are the requirements for each star in each group:
Bronze
You are moved into this usergroup as soon as you validate your account. For each star you need 100 posts.
Silver
To move to this usergroup you will need to have been registered for 15 days and have 500 posts. For each extra star you need 150 posts.
Gold
To move to this usergroup you will need to have been registered for 45 days and have 1250 posts. For each extra star you need 250 posts.
Ruby
To move to this usergroup you will need to have been registered for 90 days and have 2500 posts. For each extra star you need 500 posts.
Platinum
To move to this usergroup you will need to have been registered for 180 days and have 5000 posts. For each extra star you need 1000 posts.
Maybe I'm wrong, but that's just my personal opinion!

I think long than 180 days for platinum is much better and that should stop people posting alot to make platinum if there say 2 years to get there :o then people will take their time a little and would look after their account more instead of getting a ban and being platinum again in 6 months.
I post alot in spam lately so that alters the thingy i thinks?
I dont think the post count counts for spam even in stats :o i think if jesus posted from his join date he might be a little higher than you lol.
I like gommes idea of habbox legends :o there is a hidden forum for ex staff that are managers for a certain length of time so the ones who can see that should be throiwn into the group :) it would be a nice ty to the non vip ex managers :) but does not bother me either way because i would be vip anyway :)

I would have to be here approximately another 4 years hahahahah to reach platinum. I am very much in favour of a platinum plus for members achieving 10k but I also think there should be a time scale and certainly not that of simply doubling the current 180 days for platinum. I think the scales need to be re-balanced ;)

Lol, I had a reputation when I very first joined the forum of being a low poster, I think my average is around 0.96 and may jump to 1.0 per day lol, hence my signature. I really am not bothered about reaching platinum, hopefully 4 years time I won't be here :P
If you look at the members like yourself who have been here as long as you, 5k posts in 2 years isn't really a great deal is it?

unorthodox - 2nd Highest Poster
spandex - 4th Highest Poster
There is only eight active users who have 10k or more. Now i hardly think we need a group for people with say 15k do we!?
Everyone here has 9k or less posts.
ross - 15th Highest Poster
:Hazel - 21st Highest Poster
MsTanya - 23rd Highest Hosted
Azza - 25th Highest Poster
Mr.Kylee - 30th Highest Poster
So really hardly anyone has near to 11/15k minus the active posters still.

What ever happened to the prize winner's group?
http://www.habboxforum.com/member.php?u=19995
It got introduced in Easter 06 and yet the tournaments have never been done correctly with the group being given as an prize and nor has it been given away for any other comp.
Maybe give certain users who have been on the forum for a while acess to it seeing as it's not being used correctly anyway.

That is a good idea, a prize winner status should be implimented/ used at Habbox because it gives the Habbox community something more than pixels on Habbo. Would also benefit more people who do not use Habbo.

Indeed, I believe that was the point off the group anyway. To give an sort off prize to the winners off competitions that don't use Habbo so they have make-shift VIP features but none off the main ones but you still get an special colour.
