Just a quick random update on the film that has garnered interest from overseas producers and such as of late that I co-wrote...


Brett Piper has budgeted the film



The title of the film is currently, "Cheer 4 Fear"



Stormy Daniels is attached to act

A producer is attached but is waiting on a friend of his to get back to him as they would like to work the picture together...



Brett Piper cannot committ to direct as a personal project of his has advanced faster than he expected, thus the directorial place seems to have fallen on me

The original August/September shooting schedule has been put back to January 2009 at the earliest.

No, it isn't pornographic... although there is nudity in my script.

I don't know how much I will get, since not only is it my script that is being bought, but if I am confirmed to be director, it'll change.

Haha, if released theatrically at all, it would have an extremely limited and syndicated run in USA only, most likely. I believe we are aiming straight-for-DVD.

Not what I wanted to ask but, you ever been on a film set before?
& Is it a bit daunting with having to give actors instructions I guess of how you want a certain section or whatever performed? Or do you kinda ease off a little?

I have written and directed films before, but on a more independent scale than Cheer 4 Fear. It is going to be my biggest project to date. So yes, my own sets are the ones that I have been on before, as well as the set for Hot Fuzz, which I was a runner on.

Hasn't been at all daunting for me directing people thus far, but they were independent actors. Maybe that will change when Cheer 4 Fear shoots and I'm dealing with stars in their own right.

Q2 2009 perhaps. No idea where we're shooting yet, and a lot of paperwork and phonecalls have to be made first. That's pre-production for you.
