Yeah, my mother took my other camera on holiday with her and dropped it in the sea, so I need a new one.
Nothing too expensive, only like £60. And it has to be from Argos.

Those 2 camera's are £60 and they don't include a memory card so you'll have to spend another £5-10 otherwise the camera will be useless. 2GB SD Card will cost around £5 and a 4GB SD[HC] Card will cost around £10

Yeah, I already have quite a few SD cards, so I don't need to worry about that. Although the prices you've said seem extremely cheap, so I might buy another if you can link me to somewhere that sells them at that price.

I used to have an S500, so I'd rather have a Samsung as I know how to use it, but the Hitachi one from Argos looked better.

Remember 4GB is SDHC so it won't work in all SD Slots as a normal SD Card can only go to 2GB, all them cameras are fine with SDHC though.

The Hitachi one looks really good actually, decent specs, it also includes a video cable and a pouch which cheap camera's don't often do, hook that up with a 4GB card and you've got a good deal.

Yeah, I preferred the Hitachi one, but on the details list, the Kodak one has some anti-blur thing, 'Kodak perfect touch technology', and some other stuff that sounds sexy.

Pretty much all new cameras support them, they don't work with older card readers sometimes and don't tend to work if you directly put the SDHC card in the Printer. I wouldn't worry much they're generally not too bad but a bit hit and miss with computers.

This post is also proof that Amazon prices rise depending on when you read them! They always rise when I look back a few hours later and I'm now sure as when I made the post it was £6.50, it's raised a quid! That's mean :(

I think I'll stick with an SD card then instead of wasting money on an SDHC if it probably won't work.
Yeah, when I looked at the 2gb SD before, it was about £2.50, now it's £4.30. Still much less than I've paid for them in the past.

Ahhh fine, I'll get the Hitachi camera and hope for the best.
