Server ..?

just wondering, if I had a PC which has nothing on it, internet connection and isn't being used, would I be able to turn it into a server?

If I could, would I be able to host off it?

Yes you would be able too. Though i highly doubt you have a suitable internet connection to run it a s a webserver though, but you could use it on your local home network for storing and sharing files and streaming media on your network.
