How are these threads similar? They may be about the same person - But its a TOTALLY different subject - Are moderators are getting a bit carried away, maybe not on this one case there are many more but I've just picked this one from the last thread I've viewed.

Anyone agree? Or am I being a *****? lol ;)

Its because in sections like that people make threads titled:

"Mario!!!"
"Eugh Mario"
MArio etc...

The reason we would merge them is so that people don't clog up the forums with loads of threads about the same person so it encourages people to use one thread for each housemate.

Yes, but people can't see my thread half way down another thread on a different subject?

Well if that thread becomes about Mario and rumours surrounding him outside the house then people would look over it more.

They arent two similar threads and there by two people, thread creater and person posting in thread. Maybe it was a double post due to forum lag or you posted twice which were similar so were merged?

Nope, I made a whole new thread, on a different subject - Which happened to be about the same person. People will only look at the 'Mario' thread to see what its about and most people won't even scroll down to see other posts (where my one is), so no one can comment on it?

Well if you feel that way I suggest you PM the mod or an SMOD rather than make a new thread in Feedback every time a mod does something you don't like. Not aimed at you it just seems to be what people do atm.

Its been happening to much lately, thats why I am addressing it here.
Its called "Feedback" for a reason?

Jess has kindly unmerged the thread - Rightfully. We have one mod with some sense.

I wasn't aiming it at you :) but the way you made the thread was generalising when the post was a complaint about one thing.

Well, there's been certain moderators lately stepping out of line a lot. Mentioning no names - But its pretty obvious.

Then make a formal complaint, if it bothers you so much.

No need for the attitude.
