First impressions that I get are 'professional' and 'nice banner'. :P

Yeah, looks pretty nice really. I'd recommend changing the colour of the background and forums to the kind of shiny white that you used for the navigation bar. :)

Very nice. Colors aren't too light, they actually work out quite well. I think the icons for the different forum sections throws it off a little, but they still look very nice.

The banner has to change, it looks old now.
But the pictures for the categories are quite good, and stand out.
New skin would be nice because nowadays loads of forum use that skin.
Remove some advertisements.


But otherwise i like it.
