They are under alot of pressure as the MobileMe isn't working and they have approx what 20 minutes til the first 3G iPhone user is active and wants the services I bet. ?

Seems apple have themselves in a bit of a predicament.

As important MobileMe is, I think they may leave that for a bit until they sort the iPhone out, as its in the public eye atm. Although I would love them to get MobileMe online soon, wanna see a good review.

mobileme is semi up, firmware 2.0 obvious is fully working just not distributed yet.

According to TUAW this can be used on iPod touches. But im doing as TUAW said and waiting till its on iTunes, if it wernt meant to be released today, it will be (because its 'leaked'), and will be on iTunes in a bit.

I think 2.0 is being upped onto the iPod servers now as I just clicked 'Check for update' and a 'Contacting server' box came up, which it does not usually do.

its a full restore from 1.4 to 2.0 as it renews everything so having to resync :| gonna be a while :P

edit: applications take a longgggg time to install

Tawm on iTunes store search AIM then click the app picture then press get app and it will tell you to download the new iTunes and download it for you :D

I'm ready to pay for the iPod Touch update and then the apps I want. Restored to a fresh unjailbroken 1.1.4 earlier in preperation.

Some decent games on it, such as Super Monkey Ball, and chat applications that don't crash constantly are worth it my opinion. The myspace and facebook applications look great too.

There is a lot of expensive garbage on the appstore though..

And no MSN chat application as far as I can see.

ipod touch one looks like it's going to be delayed due to the issues with mobile me the iphone one isn't officially released yet however they had to put it up on servers for the 3G iPhone to activate properly.

SMB is difficult at first the whole concept is weird to wrap your head around but once you get use it it's immense, the motorbike game is good but over all cromag is by far the best as smb is to sensitive.
