Ronaldo 'wants transfer freedom'

Cristiano Ronaldo has backed Fifa president Sepp Blatter's suggestion that he should be able to leave Manchester United if he wants.

Ronaldo, 23, has been heavily linked with Real Madrid and has said it would be a "dream" to join the Spanish side.

Blatter insists that players should be free to play where they choose.
And Ronaldo told Portuguese broadcaster TVI: "You know what I said, what I want and what I would like. I agree completely with the president of Fifa."
The Portugal winger, who is recovering after undergoing ankle surgery last week, added: "Now I have to wait and see but I do not know where I will begin the season."

I am fed up of Ronaldo now. If he wants to leave why dont he come out and say it. Because he scored 42 last season and scored the only goal against Chealsea in the Champions club he thinks hes bigger then the club. Real Madrid dont even play how united do.
The La Liga is slow football and he will find it very hard to play football there. Let him go anyway atleast we get 50-80 Mill. :@

I can't believe those pig frenchmen (which most of them are) who run Fifa, have called the Ronaldo situation a "slavery situation"..

That's so offensive and racist to the people of 100 years ago who were sexually abused and made to do everything, even beaten into doing everything, that comment was completely wrong, especially when Ronaldo and people at fifa are all millionairres, Ronaldo being on £120,000+ a week.

Blatter is a idoit . He said man ud won the champoions league by being in debt or something and he has made other attacks on english football before.

He does hate english football and we wont be getting that 2018 world cup with him in charge.

I think it's obvious that Ronaldo wants to leave so United should just cash in on him if his heart isn't set on being part of the team.

The guy's a *****. He hasn't even played football so he doesn't use the fans view or the footballer view like Platini. He says the Premier League is one of the major problems in world football when, quite frankly, it is the main reason why football is so popular. He obviously thinks the F.A. can't do the job properly by saying that the he might make the F.A. decision to ban Martin Taylor, for his tackle on Eduardo, was not good enough. I'm a Manchester United fan and as much as I'd like to see Ronaldo stay this is getting way out of hand and If he is going to move to Madrid I wish he would just go so we have the time to replace him. The comment made about Ronaldo being treated as a slave was deffinatly out of order! For the amount of money he is paid a week and the lifestyle he lives, I don't think anyone would mind being a slave for that amount of money and lifestyle!
