RROD'd... help?

Ok, I got the RROD. Now I did the towel trick and it works, but I know it wont help for long. Should I get an inter cooler to ward it off for good? Or should I just hope it never comes back?

if it's overheated then buy an intercooler otherwise its ******.

If the warranty hasn't run out don't waste money on a cooler send it off to Microsoft.

How long is the warranty? I bought it like a little less than a year ago.

warranty for RROD is 3years now :) dont bother with an intercooler they do more damage and void the warranty as they leave burn marks across the back of the xbox.

Do I have to have a manual or the box the 360 came in to send it back in? I think I might have thrown all that stuff away. All I have is the console.

Thats all I needed check on the Xbox website and go onto support.

Yeah, I'm probably going to call in here in a few when their phone lines open and check it out. Sucks though cause I bought a lot of stuff and downloaded it onto the Xbox :(

only send them the console, take the hard drive off and the faceplate if you have one on there, they stole my cousins when he sent it back :P he forgot to take it off
