I used to have a contract and it was like

xxx Minutes and xxx Texts per month for £20 [12 month contract]

and the thing was I got an free upgrade at the end of the 12 months even if i didnt renew the contract. It was just a free upgrade at the end of my contract.

Are there any deals like this still out?

I dont mind about the mins or messages. I just want a free upgrade to a phone of my choice at the end,

Generally you get an upgrade wether you update the contract or not at the end don't you? :S

Nop, not on most contracts. You only get the headset at the start and then at the end of the contract if you renew you get a new upgrade. If you dont renew you dont get anything.

Why would a network give you a free phone for NOT renewing your contract? :S

It comes as the deal, as a free gift they sometimes give you a FREE upgrade at the end of the contract.

Just check out different providers or renew the contract you just had, won't they give you another upgrade at the end of year 2?
