According to the things told by Microsoft and various other companys so far at E3, I feel the next several months are gonna be awesome

The thing is most of the non arcade games are multiformat. I loved how before they showed the dashboard they said they are innovating, its menu system is near identical to wii channels and its friends system is a cross between Home and Miis

No I'm sure sales figures will be favouring Fable 2, the first Fable is still one of the most played original games on xbox live, it is what a game is meant to be, Gears of War is just another go kill everything you see shooter, seen it before many, many times, the 360 needs a decent RPG and Fable 2 is it, I'm sure a casual 360 owner would choose fable over GoW2 simply because it's so easy to find a game like it where as finding an RPG like Fable 2 is only possible if you turn to Fable: TLC and that still doesn't compare

To be honest you've basically just said that GoW2 fans will buy GoW2, Fable can be down as a family game, I'm sure parents would rather buy Fable 2 than GoW2 for there kids xD
Fable 2 will get sale from fans and it will get sale from people who seem interested, Fable easily has more fans than GoW does xD

Plus it's just a dashboard design, it will still have the same features almost just a different layout. It will be better anyway. I bet when they make the update you think "wow".

Yes but most parents wouldn't do it, Fable is one of the best games on the xbox and Fable 2 will easily be the best on the 360, GoW is just a shooter, just like Halo, CoD, RSV and like many, many other 360 games, games like Fable are rare to find, they're innovative, they have things no other games have like dynamic environments and dynamic character evolution

If I remember correctly I bought a Microsoft Xbox 360, not someone's "experiment gone wrong" of a Wii, PS3 & Vista. I seriously hope it's an optional download for the dashboard..

Personally I think they'll just integrate themes into the new dashboard, if not then they will give you an option, I would assume the same for gamerpics, they wouldn't remove something they've been offering for years that thousands of people have paid for, if you can't use themes on the dashboard then the traditional "blades" are still used in the "Guide menu"

good point there, completely forgot about the themes and gamerpics I bought. Hope these will be implemented somewhere as the look of the new dashboard is pretty crap I think. Looks like theyve tried to hard and just failed, all I wanted was something simple and thats what I have now.
