New Habbo Record!

In the Hispanic Hotel today a New Record was broken by the greater number of Habbos connected at the same time and the cause is that there were 58412 habbos, In addition the Hotel was 15474432 visits in the last month!, yeah! as you read here is the image of the main page to demonstrate it… congratulations Hispanic Hotel!

Yeh the spanish hotel accomodates all spanish speaking countries so there is a lot of players. It always has a lot of people on at any time as it caters for different time zones, south america, spain etc.

It's had more than that before and I'm pretty sure the UK hotel has had more than that too. Habbo ES always has lots of players since it caters for so many different countries.

I've played since 2001 and I haven't seen close to half of 30 thousand let alone 60. The highest I can remember was the release of pets on Habbo UK, where they was about 18 thousand habbos on.

Habbo never posted an article on it but i remember just staring at hotel view one night (I think 2006) and a notice came up saying something like 66,000 habbo's online. it was either in the update which just got the online member count at the top or the one before it.

I think UK has broke the 20k barrier, and if so only once or twice. I imagine Sulake are rubbing their hands with glee right now and whoever secured the Calippo deal is getting a large bonus come christmas :)

It maybe possible, i've looked at spanish habbo first webpage a few times and it's normally around 30,000 online. So if 30,000 is like normal then it can easily double in busy times. I mean habbo UK normally has 6-10 thousand on normally but it easily goes to 15-20 in busy times like weekends and holiday so i think it;s real tbh. And it's must be the most lagged hotel ever i mean when we get 15,000 people it gets lagged up.

Nice theory, but not correct. The amount of lag depends on how much resources (servers, etc) is available for any given hotel. So, if spain appears to be very busy they give that hotel more resources.

Think of the old days, when Habbo sometimes went full. You got a nice little popup informing you about that when you had i.e 1000 Habbo's in your hotel. Now, over time, this limit is streched and you might notice the popup isnt there anymore. So, when they amount of users expanded, so did the resources. Still the same with spain: growing amount of Habbo's means more or more powerfull resources.

No concrete proof, but I remember seeing the counter that day (showing over 50 000), and eventually a maintenance screen popped up and after that, the counter showed the usual, about 30 000.
