Hmm, I think there was a slight difference on HabboxWorld between Smods and admins. I don't remember now but like it says in the usertitle and stuff anyway if people aren't sure.

Jordan,

I know that but i think it would be better if they did have diffrent colour if not colour shades

I've never really understood why super mods have to have red names anyway.

Surely they are no different to all the other staff? :S

i agree it's a bit silly how there's no colour difference but there is for everyone else

Exactly.
If the forum is considered as just a department, then the super moderators are no different to senior staff members. Even department managers have the same colour as the rest of the staff, so why not them?

I don't see why it's a problem really, you can use www.habboxforum.com/showgroups.php if you want to see who is in what usergroup. Also, we wouldn't use marroon because all staff members who don't have VIP are that colour.

it's not a problem, it's just confusing for new people

Well if they have any problems then they can just create a thread. Say on the odd occasion where they did need to PM an Admininstrator which wouldn't be very regular and they sent the PM to a super moderator by accident it can be forwarded to an Administrator in a matter of seconds.

I don't think this really causes too much of a problem in my opinion. Administrators and Super Moderators both can deal with forum issues and their work is obviously based around the forum so I see no reason to change the name colours. It is clear if someone is a Administrator or Super Moderator because of their user title and what user group they come under in www.habboxforum.com/showgroups.php.

Even if you accidentally PM an Administrator instead of a Super Moderator I'm sure they would happily just forward the PM to a Super Moderator who could deal with the problem in stead and it isn't too hard to learn who is and who is not a Super Moderator/Administrator. :)

Because super moderators need to be easily spotted as they are there to help and to deal with forum issues. If they were maroon it would be hard to find them if you didn't know their names. Now, of course, you could argue that it wouldn't be that hard to tell because you could just go to showgroups but, if that's the case, then there's no problem with them being red.

Nah, they should stick with the same, because other staff has the marron.

The colour doesn't really bother me, but a different colour for SMODs would make a nice change, but I don't think there are many to choose from atm.

I second that. A colour change for normal staff would be good to. That maroon is so ugly

I agree, there name should be another colour! - Thing is thought, what colour could they be? Most the colours are taken with VIP. I remember the trouble they had when they were changing the ASM/AGM name colour.

dosent have to change coulor can be shades

The red colour sticks out among the other colours on the "people online" list which makes it easier to grab hold of an smod if you need one. smods and admins don't really need differentiating as either can deal with most problems. I can't think of a case off hand that would require you to PM an admin rather than an smod.

Yes but then there is the problem of things no standing out and user groups being easily confused? I don't think it is that vital as at the end of the day we still have user titles and the "show groups" page to distinguish between staff members. However I suppose it isn't my forte to talk about this considering I'm colour blind but ah well. :P

Jordan,

I know but it would be better and more efficent if they had diffrent colours e.g a lighter or darker red

The Professor

How would it be better more effecient? You're just saying it would be over and over again without actually giving any sort of justification ;)

But Alex babes! Not giving a reason is the best way to support your argument! :D

It's so they can be regognised if you need one online and easily. But if you can't be botherd to read a usertitle then well your just making it harder for yourself.

What is the difference between an Admin or a SMod? They seem to be the same, except I'm guessing one has access to the Admin CP? What can Admins do that SMods can't when it comes to the Admin CP? I think most things don't even need to use the Admin CP when it comes to members, unless vBulletin is behind again :P

SMODs have like 4 useful tools, Admins have like 50. (If they get full access) :P
