He stepped down as Assistant General Manager and is now a Forum Administrator. Mr.OSH has taken his place as AGM.
It has only happened today and all is in announcments, sierk made 7 announcments.

oh damn the silly crappy unwanted announcements which clog decent ones up like this then.
Inseriousity.

Forum Admin a lower rank than AGM? Oh, thought he'd been promoted. Shows you how much I know
I got that from 'stepped down' btw. If I interpreted wrong, just ignore me.

Well they have to be posted, you just have to go into the main forum and read :)
Edit: Forum admin is lower than AGM, AGM is second highest position and highest is GM. And he resigned as AGM and took the Admin position.

I could buy HabboxForum if it ever went up for sale, and be the owner.

Joshuar is one of a kind, it wouldn't matter in the slightest what his position at Habbox was or is, I've known him a very long time and he always acts very professional and don't tell him but I respect him for that, he's a great guy, so his rank is irrelevant as far as I'm concerned :)

Jrh2002 bought the forum, so technically he's the owner but Sierk now has ownership of it. He basically owns Habbox(Forum).com, thus the title of owner. General Manager is one step down to owner, and then there's Assistant General Manager. Forum Administrator is a step down further, since they only run one half of the Habbox empire, & then of course there's departmental managers, then Super Moderators (which go in hand with 'assistant department manager'), then Moderators (which go in hand with department staff members).
If you cant be arsed reading,
Owner > GM > AGM > Forum Admin > Departmental Managers (MOD Manager) > SMODs (Assistant Dept. Managers) > Moderators (Dept. Staff)
Well, from what I can see anyway. I think Forum Admin & Departmental managers could go hand in hand technically, since they only govern one responsibility but the responsibility is quite massive, but not as big as the above ranks (Owner, GM, AGM). ON THE TOPIC OF JOSHUAR, he should never have been a AGM, he knows more about the forum than most in my opinion, he's great with them.
Well done.

I think department manager comes before admin dont it?!
Pyroka
15-07-2008, 08:33 PM
Departmental Managers would be the same sort of responsibility as Admin does. I looked at it in the sense that AGMs have responsibillity over certain parts of the site and forum, GM has responsibility over AGMs and all staff below, like a food chain almost. Then sierk comes and noms everyone up.
I'd say Dept Manager was either a equal or lesser responsibility though, since admin helps everyone (like the forum was their department, if ya get me).

Admins are sort of the managers of the mod/CS manager atm, they seem to handle all the big stuff while the mod manager and cs manager handle the day-to-day running as any other dept manager would. Dept managers answer to the AGMs while the mod manager/CS manager answers to the admins who answer to the AGMs. QED :P
But back on topic, josh always seemed to do forumy things anyway so I think the admin job is better suited to him :) Good luck!

Not very nice! I agree with what MissAlice said, everything I've seen Josh do he's always done it to a high standard. Not only does he do that but he's also a great person to talk to and very easy to talk to. I'm sure he'll still shine in his new role. :)

Again I have to echo the words of MissAlice and Immenseman; Josh is probably the best person I've ever met through Habbox and is truly a great friend. He's a wiz when it comes to forum skins and administration and I believe he feels this role suits him better. :)
and he has fit hair.
Oh yes and that too! :P

I would have thought Forum Owner would be the highest rank :).
Personally I thought it was Habbox Owner but maybe the site is owned by mutant space monkeys :o
Sorry I couldn't resist.
As far as ranks go, they're really two seperate ladders.
Trialist > Staff > Senior Staff > Asst. Manager > Manager > AGM > GM
or
Trialist > Staff > Super Mod > Admin > (Forum Manager) > AGM
Not all admins become forum manager. Managers are higher ranking than admins really, unless of course the admin is a manager as well. But admins have more forum permissions, just like a moderator might have more forum permissions than a manager, doesn't mean the manager doesn't rank him.
Anyway, Josh is an absolutely amazing guy and I've known him a while and I am veryveryveryveryveryveryveryvery glad he's staying with us :)

Due to the fact I was doing alot of forum work and that, I was asked to step down and thought I should take the opportunity while I had it. Being a Forum Administrator suits me alot more now than my AGM position was suiting me.
Besides, now Mr.OSH is a AGM which I think is better than me being an AGM :P
And thank you for your comments guys, they made me smile :) espically yours Alice :P
