Lip Piecing?

So im thinking of getting my Lip Pieced but im not sure.

So any advice?

In my oponion most facial piercings look nasty. Not many people can pull them off.
On a sicker note, my mate got hers done a few years ago and it got infected and now she has quite a noticable scar!

Kinda hard to tell when we don't know what you look like but I like lip piercings :)

Scar? What? lol, no. The whole is SO SMALL you dont see it hardly at all, and i know loads of people who dont get scars from them.. lo

Infected? No. I've never had mine infected and neither has my step brother whos had his done roughly 4 years now..

They actually dont, i worked in a food place, yes food. And i had it in for the interview i agreed to remove it for work. They were happy.

The scar isn't noticeable. I've got my right side done which is still in and I've had both my left and middle done but I had to remove them due to infection and there isn't much of a scar, just a little dot where it was pierced and you can only notice it if you look for it. But, I think when you first have them done you need to make sure you clean them and everything because they are more prone to infection.

My mates was defo infected and her scarings due to the infection not an actual hole from the piercing.
My cousin had hers done a couple of weeks ago and i seen her the next day and the inside of her lip was all bruised and icky! Is that normal? Its died down now and looks okish

Right...
Go to your local lip piercing place or wherever sells the piercings, find the cheapest LIP RING you can find, this will fit on your lip without piercing, your lip will fit through the gap and it will hold itself.
Leave it on for a few days, see how it feels, might feel weird at first but you forget about it for a while, once you take it off, you'll feel strange without it and realise how comfortable it actually is with one in.
Ihad mine done yet got bored with having to keep taking it out for my gf, etc so left it open and it closed up itself, hasn't left a visible mark.
I would advise it if you really want it, don't do it because you think your mates will like you better or to prove a point, it's pointless.
& Also remember, depending on your age, most workplaces do not allow things such as this, making finding work more difficult and also in school, the teachers may give you a hard time about it.
So...
It's all up to you really.

stops you tapping, tidying and stuff because you have something to move instead in an easy accessable place.

Come watch my friends for a few hours and you'll understand. Lol... they keep their bars/rings/spikes moving non-stop xD
