Hey Guys,

If you have taken GCSE Exams this year or AS-Levels, then this is the thread for YoU!

Well ive taken GCSE Exam this year and I am really excited aswell as worried about my results on August 21st 2008! I really want to know if all my hard-work paid off or not, I want to know how may future will turn-out because off these results I will be getting in a few weeks! I want to know if my 11-Years off education was worth-it for these results!

I just don't want to be one off the people who are upset/bummed out in the corner with there results!

The High-School I went to only has a 45% GCSE Pass-rate for 5A*-C, What does your school have? I think I should be one off the lucky ones Predicted mainly A*s,As and ** and like 1C, But im hoping for better in a few subjects!

How are YoU guys feeling about Results day & coping?!?

Also if possible what are you hoping to do in the future? E.G:AS-Level Subjects,University,Careers!

Best off Luck when you open your sealed envolopes! :)

Mixture of both panic and excitement atm. I'm not very patient when it comes to results tbh. I keep thinking about certain things I put and thinking 'why did I put that?!' GCSEs aren't as important as they're made out to be so I won't mind if I do bad (I definitely won't cry) but it'd be nice knowing that I did get good grades. :)

Hey guys,

I think my thread has been very successful LOL! I remember when I started this thread a few months ago I think you were all calm and relaxed then! But now the time is so near, you have all gone nervous and scared!

Myself I am very nervous & scared! I need to like have got so many marks in some module papers I did and a resit to gain a grade higher then what I was targeted so im hoping I get it, I worked really hard on revising aswell :(! I just don't want to mess-up and end up with some crappy career and not get into Sixth Form! :(

I revised 305-hours in total for my GCSE examinations! So I hope all the hard-work & dedication I put into revision pays off! :P

I also have an Edexcel Pin so I can check my results online, well the exams I took with Edexcel which were Mathematics & R.E but Im going to screw that because then the tension will break-down and I won't be full of
mixed emotionas when I actually go to my High-School and get my results envolpe! Also its not as traditional as some people would say ;)!

Good luck to everyone who has taken there GCSEs,I am sure you will get the grades you want and if you don't you can always go Vocational then A-level :D!

Thanks

Same with all of that, funnily enough. 10:30 entrance for me. I only have 1 result coming, though, and I have next year... and the year after, to get good results.

You haven't slept over 1 results? OMG, bless you and not in a patronizing way, it's just imagine how nervous you will be when you get all the results for your GCSEs! :P

I so regret looking at my results online..

I thought I'd failed everything, then go in to see a half-alright list of results.

English Language - C
English Lit - C
Geography - C

The rest where E's, but I got on the course I wanted at college and I can still be a pilot so I'm happy :)
