Well, as most of you know, I was bashing gays a while back. Well, I was doing that because my best friend revealed to me that he was gay and he liked me. I used to support gay rights and everything, but it has changed after my friend told me everything. I haven't talked to him in a while, so should I still be his friend? Is this just like a phase because I used to support gays?

Why should the fact he's gay change your friendship just tell him you're only interested in friendship.
