It was released to a few Microsoft Beta Testers, But someones slipped it out? Features include:


Animated DP's: Adds support for Animated GIFs. (However this is only visible to other WLM9 Users.
Right Click Menu on Contact List: Allows you to make different sounds happen depending on who signs in.
Sound Menu and Editor: Pick how long a song plays before applying it to sounds like Contact Signs in or Nudge (In Options Menu)
Skype-like Chat: Groups text said sequentially.
New Blocking Feature: You can block, or block and report for Spamming to the WLM Service.
Link in Personal Status Message: URLs in Personal Status Messages are hot and clickable in the Messenger contact list.
Sign in to the same account on multiple computers at the same time: Pretty much the title, this can also be disabled to prevent account takeover.

It also has some security fixes and background updates. It doesn't look much different.

Still, it's better then WLM 8.5 at the moment.

I've been using it for 2 days, and there are no major bugs or flaws.

Probly for companies that use msn so that many people can use the same account, e.g 5 people using [email protected] instead of one person :) Pretty good idea I think

i think they're on about being able to sign into two accounts on the same computer, it's a script on WLM plus which i have, like i'm signed onto 2 msns atm at the same time whereas you're only supposed to be able to sign onto one

Yes, it does. They have already made a WLM 9 patch as well. :)

It would pop up when you sign in to a different computer, I assume!
