Well i got talk talk otherday and is connected to the internet completly diffrent than my virgin media. I think i will need to get a new router as it doesn't work with talk talk.
Am i right i will have to get a ADSL Router but how does that connect to the modem? is it via a ADSL cable or a Ethernet cable? And then if i connected the pc to it via cable how would that connect? Again, Ethernet or ADSL?
I will give +3rep to all desent help.
Thanks, Swinkid.

First bit of help:
Stop typing like an idiot, "routorz" and "internets" aren't funny or cool.
Second bit of help:
Get a router from talk talk.

Sorry, just had to do it see how long it would take for someone to notice..
Second, why from talk talk? i though it works the same way as some BT internet meaning a ADSL router?
Also couldn't i change the connection type to PPoee or w/e it is called and get the username and password from Talktalk?

Wow Swin wasn't expecting this post to be by you when I saw the title.
Often when you swap ISPs they give you a router or modem or w/e depending on what services they provide so maybe phoning up Talk Talk and asking might work.

Swin, i reccomend you phone talk talk, and request one. They should value youre service and send you a free one free of charge, or sell you one at a cheap price. ISP's are looking for customers desperatly at the moment as there are so many companys out there offering better deals. So just test the waters ;]

Most decent providers will provide a router which will work with there service. So give them a ring, and ask for a free router or go back with Virgin
Im on Talk talk, and we got a router from Talk Talk for free! Its alot better, and speedwise i feel is alot better to.

Right, you would connect the router to the internet (via phone line) using an
Asymmetric Digital Subscriber Line (ADSL) cable, then connect the computer to the router using an Ethernet cable,
If you have Talk Talk, they have there own special router to work with there Internet DNS settings, you will need to get that of them (Its free)
O2 has there own router as well
