For my birthday?

Laptop would be dell, I was looking at an iPod touch though because my MP3 is full.

Btw, I don't have a TONNE of cash so it'd be like 400 quid laptop

I'd get a laptop as the PC is running slower and slower and I'd want MY own laptop

They are 2 totally different things, so you can't really compare them.

Not a decision we can make for you...

If you really want your own laptop then I'd go for that though :)

He didn't want a comparison, he asked which one to buy.

Hmm, Its really up to you. But if you need the laptop more then go for it. Like the people have said above, you can do more things on the laptop then you can do on the iPod Touch.

With the new app store on the iPod Touch, it replaces a Laptop as you can do everything you can do on a Laptop.

Personally I'm a big music fan so I would go for an iPod Touch and wait for the Laptop

I would go for the ipod, since i have a computer but if you still have computer access then you don't really need the laptop until you move away from home or something similar pops up.

Those studio laptops look ok but be warned the intel graphics accelerator won't let you play any games newer than 8 years old unless it doesn't use pixel shaders. If you don't move around a lot then get a desktop pc! Then if one part goes you don't have to pay as much to get it fixed and you can customise, and it would normally have a longer life span thats about 2/3 of the price for the laptop if going for the same specs.

But it's still your choice ;)

Nowhere to put a desktop thats all, I need it to be mobile to I can walk around the house and when my dad boots me out the back room I can use it in my room.
