Sonic Unleashed set to be the best Sonic game ever?

Sonic Unleashed is due to be released this November, and with the videos we've seen, it looks like it's a return to roots for the blue hedgehog. The speed is immense, the werehog sections are pretty god of waresque style, so it looks alright.

Watch the first video, the speed looks absolutely fantastic, if only the game was all speed then sega would have a real hit game on their hands.

The graphics for the 360 version are quite nice, not really convinced, not really into the 3D sonic games, Sonic Adventure was the only 3D one that cut it for me

No-one will ever better the orginal Sonic games on the Sega, pure reto quality.

Like Neil I'm not convinced either, the last 'next gen' Sonic outing was atrocious.

The Werewolf bit ruins it for me :/ I can't see why they can't do a Sonic side scrolling game like in the old times, but with 3D graphics and basic controls (like no punching :/)

Chaos was in Sonic Adventure Battle 2? He was only in there as a multiplayer character as far as I am aware. Sonic Adventure DX (or whatever it's named was) had Chaos in though.

i hope they do bring back this tho because thats what kept me going back to SA2 still havent got the amy or knuckles chao.. managed to get the tails one tho ^_^. *goes play chao* lol. but yes, even if it sucks completley im still buying ps3 + wii.

EDIT: just read somewere that sonic chronicles on the ds has a chao garden. trying to find some info on that if thats true ill be happy ^_^

Nah i dont think chaos would serve any purpose in any of the new games apart from possible 2player character..

I want Nack and Mighty back.. now those were good characters


And chao garden on SC. from what i can make out its only for power ups or something lol. http://www.gametrailers.com/player/37374.html?r=1&type=wmv they look diffrent now.. with all the diffrent colours.. i prefered the diffrent looks. but least they brough chao back no the less. might be a stepping stone for them to coem back at soe point. ic ant see it on unleashed nor dark night..
