Question for people with tongue piercings

Right, basically I've wanted a tongue piercing as long as I can remember and my current girlfriend said she'd put up with the taste of rotting-flesh

so.... I wana know how much I can expect it to change my voice, your tounge muscle gets stronger because it has a spike through it... what effect will that have on my accent and way i speek?

Current I talk with quite a clear deep voice and with a South-England accent... the one that people seem to think sounds posh... xD.

At first youl more then likely have a lisp as your tounge will be swollen, some people have a lisp long term afterwards. It just depends on the person, it wont affect your voice dramatically thou :)

What's with the taste of rotting flesh thing lol :S that doesn't sound good. But yeah mine hasn't altered my voice in any way, and once you switch sizes down to something normal (the original bar will be pretty big to allow for swelling) you should be fine

If after you get it you do what I plan to do which is keep on partying it starts tasting like rotting-flesh for abit :D Lol happen to a few people I know and it was a bit... vile... xD I'll try and keep mine abit cleaner though ;P

I dont think it has much of an impact on your voice as you think. It wont do anything to your accent. :)

lol I little bit of metal wont make you talk like a northerner :P
