Task Time! <SPOILER>

The housemates have to stop time...
For this week's Shopping Task, the housemates have to complete five separate challenges (and pass three of them) based around the theme of 'time'.
In the "clock making challenge", two Heavenly housemates chosen by Dale have to construct a giant pocket watch from equipment provided by Big Brother. But guess what? They'll have to do it in a certain amount of time!
In the "archeological dig", three Heavenly housemates will unearth historical objects by, erm, digging them up, and will then have to date them (that's 'determine when they were made', not 'take them out for dinner')
They'll also have to form a human clock, turn off alarm clocks in a limited amount of time, and keep the sands of time flowing in a giant egg timer.
Dale, Head of House, will have to oversee all the challenges but cannot take part in any of them.
But will the housemates succeed at the Tasks this week, or will they run out of time? The clock's ticking...

Sounds like it could be a fun task, although it's not one of the best they've had. I bet Dale is gutted he can't take part.

The human clock they have to stay in for an hour, then they can leave but they don't know when the hour has finished. They have to keep the giant egg timer topped up with sand. Was on BBLB yesterday and there was quite a few clocks, they look cool too :D

Maysoon and Stuart will be building a watch

Rex, Bex and Luke will be taking part in the archaeological dig.

All Hell housemates must take part in the alarm clock challenge, which involves random alarms going off and housemates having to locate which of many alarm clocks in the Task room is ringing.

Oh how well they did...
Yesterday afternoon, under the supervision of a very strict Dale, the housemates made a human clock (http://www.channel4.com/bigbrother/news/newsstory.jsp?id=9402&position=26) in the Garden. They were numbered from one to 12, and each of them had to silently count to five minutes and give a "BONG!" when they thought the time had passed.
We can now reveal that what the housemates thought was 60 minutes... was actually 72 minutes and five seconds. Great counting, guys. Here are the results, from best to worst:
Lisa: 4:55
Mohamed: 5:05
Darnell: 4:48
Rachel: 4:48
Rex: 5:35
Michael: 5:50
Luke: 5:58
Stuart: 5:58
Maysoon: 6:25
Rebecca: 7:28
Sara: 8:54
And extra special mention must go to Kathreya, who almost reached the ten minute mark with an astonishing nine minutes and 41 seconds. We can only assume that time flies when you're having human clock fun.

They passed the task and recieve a luxury shopping budget. Dale has to do the shopping alone this wweek.
