shouldn't do, just make sure the crack works.

What version of windows are we talking about?
If we're talking about Vista, I have a premium iso I can upload for you which doesn't need serial or crack and works completely fine, PM me if you're interested.
But in answer to your question, no, it shouldn't affect you.

Ha i second that.
Well not personally for me but i reformatted my dads and his sound still don't work lol - well partially coz emachines said his motherboard isn't compatable but oh well vista still rus :D

And as for will it break anything well no as long as you just format the whole thing and install a copy of windows (pre cracked as most of them are these days) then it should be fine.
If you are going to xp i reccomend the performance edition which can run on 32mb of ram so will be faster but as for vista then that's on a whole new level..

If you don't get all the drivers for your pc automatically installed then usually when you brought you pc there will be a disk which has all the drivers etc all ready for you to just use from the disk and also there should be an option where you can restore the whole pc back to factory mode where it's just like you brought it :D.
