Icons not opening? (+15 rep)

I think I pressed something and suddenly my icons don't open, I can't click on links to open them, I can't click new tab on Internet Explorer. I can't right click to copy and paste. They're all the things I've noticed thus far. :S

Mate, the best thing to do is to

Go into safe mode. by tapping f8 on start-up
And restore you're pc to a time when this problem diddent occour. this solution always works. :]

Your problem isn't very clear, what icons are you talking about?

From the inability to right click and use funtions similar to that it could be software, do you use setpoint or something similar which changes the way your input devices work? Please be a little more specific.
