Only 2.4 Million viewers tuned into Friday's eviction. The lowest eviction ratings in 7 years. The 18-34 year olds (The people advertisers deem as "People who actually buy stuff") has also decreased dramatically meaning BB doesn't get as much money offered to them by advertisers.

C4 have said it's nothing to worry about it was inevitable to happen they still believe it is doing fine. Good news is C4 have already paid for another 2 years of BB so they can't cancel it any time soon.

Another article for people that want it:

It doesn't surprise me. BB has been going on for so long and BB8 wasn't a very good series so probably put people off. But it is still C4's best rated show :)

To be honest, friday nights is a stupid night for evictions if there target audience is 18-34 year olds.

Why? - Friday nights = End of the work week (for most people) and most 18-34 year olds go out on a friday (clubbing etc).

So I'm not surprised the ratings are poop.

Thanks for posting link. I was just writing up what I remember from reading the article in The Sun today.

TBH though as if anyone was gonna watch Belinda get voted out that's the first one I didn't watch in like 3 years just based on the fact that I knew who was going and I didn't care enough to watch it.

A network would be foolish having paid for a show and to not air it. It still generates them enough money from adverts. It's different if the adverts weren't making back the cost of the show as it'd be pointless showing it.

I think the should change EVERYTHING. We have had 9 years with practically the same show premise. Create a whole new era of Big Brother.
