Stumped on this, I've seen a few.

Not sure if they're any good :(

Reccomendations for any?

You can change the regions of most DVD pllayers, just google your model and "change region" to find out how

If you get an old RPC1 DVD drive such as a pioneer like mine you can flash the firmware also more details are available at: http://forum.rpc1.org/

You can't use RPC2 drives as the region code is at hardware level unlike RPC1 as it's at firmware level.

I have no idea what model it is,
says this on the remote:

Hitachi DV-RMPF4E
(It's split VCR also)

DV-PF7E is the model.

I cant sceem to find codes for that particular model, but try ones from similar models, they may do the trick

This doesn't always work.
I've had numerous dvd players and unlocked them but they still didn't work.
But i have found that philips come with all the codecs etc already installed so might be worth a look.

Fair enough,

If youre thinking about getting a Blue-Ray player, buy a playstation three.

There isint much difference in the price between the PS3, and blue ray player.
Somtimes the blue ray player costs more than the 40GB PS3. + u have an amazing home system + games console ;]

First you PM for rep
Then post a pointless piece of advice.

I want a MULTI-REGIONAL-DVD-PLAYER
not a PS3.

Get one of ASDAs own DVD players (they are like £20 and called Pacific I think) and then you can make them region free with a code you can find on Google! :)

I got a Starlogic Region free DVD player off Amazon for £15 about 2 years ago now, It's a decent piece of hardware for the price, it sometimes goes out of synch with the audio though.

Here's one for £34.99: http://www.amazon.co.uk/Kazuki-region-player-support-memory/dp/B00190Z1CM
