I've just turned on speedfan and my core temp is way too hot and has a flame next to it..
My fans are on full 100% but it's still really hot even my case has like 7 fans :|

Is there a way I can get it to cool quicker?

Reseat the heatsink, and re-apply the thermal compound

What CPU and what temps?

Speedfan usually have a fire for no reason.

Give your heatsink a clean. Get all the dust out. Speenfan is sometimes a bit over anyway though.

SpeedFan is always out for me, I wouldn't worry.

I'm not that smart :(

Well last night my core temp was up to 65 and I left it for 6 hours turned back on and it's now 55, which is still pretty high considering it's usualy 40 odd.

If you can tell us the temps etc...

The only thing that runs hot on my system is my graphics card, but they normally run at around 60.

Not that high, my mac mini runs up to at least 70 at times. But that's like a laptop. The temps seem to be ok.

Yes, but mine is in a collermaster 690 which has about half a dozen fans unlike the mac mini :P

Whats your processor, like one of the people have asked above.

Strange... maybe you need a better heatsink? I run a pretty hardcore Core Quad system, and my cores only run at around 30C all day long.

My CPU is AMD Athlon(tm) 64 X2 Dual Core Processor 5200+ yeah pretty crappy but the shop didn't have intel builds in.

A Q6600 is not hardcore.

A Q6600 is not hardcore.

Depends, if your looking at a bunch of Overclockers then they swear by it for overclocking, but its still pretty average.

Normal PC users, it would be hardcore.

A Q6600 at 3.6Ghz will beat pretty much everything else out there on the market for a fraction of the price
