xbox 360 "syntax error"

so... i turned it on today to watch a dvd and it flashed red on just 1/4 bits of the circle around the on/off button and it just says "syntax error", restarted and it says the same and i've turned it off at the mains etc.

Before sending ot microsoft, Email them and ask if there is anyway of fixing it before sending it off, if there isnt. well bye xbox for few weeks.

Lol mine got the three rings yesterday.

Just phone the customer support, they're actually quite helpful, and make you check a few things to fix it.

Check it's all hooked up right...
And also try the towel method...Gets it working for a few hours until you have a chance to fix it.
