Portfolio layout - Thoughts?

Hey,

I was messing about in photoshop and this came about. I liked it so developed it further and this is the finished product.

Change the main text colour, put on a white box around the content and change the footer colour and it should look really good.

I tried that, it looked really out of place, I tried a speach bubble also but nothing seems to work. I'll keep messing about. Thanks for the feedback :)

I think this container looks kinda okay, findle around with it untill it looks right.

That's similar to what i started off with but i scrapped the container and just went for the open plan option.

For some reason I really do not like it. It seems too 'last year' as the cliche' goes. I really think if it's going to work you should add a JS slider so they click a button and it slides left or right through your layouts.
