Hey guys, for some reason, my PS3 isn't reading and games. I've cleaned the disc, doesn't work. I left my PS3 off overnight, in the morning still wasn't working. Has this happened to anyone before? And if it has, how did you get it to work.

You've been playing to much I think. Phone sony up they will probaly tell you how to fix or ask you to send in to fix. And no it hasn't happened to me before.

Phoned sony already, their bring a new one, i was just wondering why this happened. I think because it has to much technology, I played my PS2 more, and it didn't happen once. The PS2 was more simple.

Putting it in the fridge for an HOUR!!!!! would make it worse wouldn't it?

Did you turn it off at the back or did you hold down the PS button and turn off system/ turned it off via XMB?

You realise that is very bad due to you could screw your console by doing that from things such as moisture

No, I mean, which one did you use to switch it off before you went to sleep or something? Or was it still on when it bricked?

I think it is 99% safer if you do it while in XMB, but definate no-no in game.
