Is the name of Quentin Tarantino's next film. It is not a remake of the exploitation original, just shares the name. He has only just finished the script and it was immediately purchased by Mirimax for a high fee. Someone at the studio scanned and leaked the script to the internet but it's extremely hard to find. I have a copy if anybody wants it. I have read it it and it is a masterpiece, Pulp Fiction may be taken over if it comes out as good as it reads.
The film is about Jewish G.I.s who go deep into enemy lines in Nazi occupied France in World War II on a suicide mission. It looks to be about 3 hours long, I have no idea why Michael Madsen said 6 hours, the screenplay isn't 360 pages long.
Quentin said that he'd have the film ready for Cannes 2009, but that was before the script was even finished, so there is no chance of that happening. 2009 or early 2010 I'd say.

Is this written and directed by Tarantino like his od films or does he have a nominal role like in Planet Terror?

Did you read my post, lol? The script is written by him and the film will be directed by him. I have the script in my possession, which is why anyone who wants it can just ask.

It would rival Pulp Fiction if the transition from script to screen is as good as the screenplay.

Yes, you seem to think every film is lame, because of it's deep storyline.
You can only relate to films which has idiocracy stamped all over the script.
(Adulthood, Kidulthood, Angus, Thongs etc.)

Well everything QT does is an homage to the more gritty films of yesteryear.

I have a feeling it's going to be split into two parts, seperate films if you will.
Yeah, sounded like a film too long for the average viewer.
