Right ring up xbox live ( Number on manual ),
When you ring them say that you need the UDP code for my router, they will guide you what you have to do to enable the xbox live onto your router.
** Its free to ring btw pal!

Hey,
What thing doesn't work when you run the "Test Connection" facility on the System blade? (Like what thing fails the test)
Never heard of what Jayke is describing

Hmm, What kind of switch do you have?
Here is an article on the IP Failure error - http://support.microsoft.com/kb/908885
Might help a bit :)

Try swapping around the order of the ethernet cables, so PC where Xbox 360 is and vice versa.

Never heard of what Jayke is describingYeah also try what Johno said, if it can't resolve the IP Address then it's a problem with the router and not the Xbox 360.
IP always fails :(
I know search on start > Run > Open it type /cmd > Once its open /ipconfig everything should come up ip, DNS, etc :) If you still need help
add
[email protected]
Ill help there

Cant you just.
go to the router's Page
witch should be like
192.168.*.*
or something like that
then get your ip, and set that IP for your Xbox..
If you use BT, there should be like a control panel and it should say whats allowed and whats not allowed on a certain connection well you can go into the control panel and somewhere on it you should be able to allow stuff like xbox live. This is what I did anyway. Hope that helps.

Same as Boeing happened to me, you type your IP into the address bar and the routers CP should come up.
