Presenter Carol Vorderman, 47, has announced she is to step down from presenting the Channel 4 television game show Countdown.

Aww countdown is going to be rubbish now :(

The chances are the program will be ending at the end of the year.. Des O'Connor is leaving at the end of the year, and the guy who owns the rights to the show is considering packing it all in.

If they keep it going, Gaby Logan and Myleene Klass are current favorites to get the letter job.

I guessed she was 30 or so...?
Countdown won't be the same without her, but I still love the show :)
I wonder who will be the successor of her? I think it will be a genius whom we don't know.
Channel 4 are out of order to offer a 90% pay cut - they must want to end Countdown, surely?
As for Des O'Connor, he did well but I feel he could never replace the legend known as Richard Whitely.
