Manually sync iPod

Just plugged my iPod in and it usually automatically syncs new songs, however this time it hasn't.

How can I get my new songs onto my iPod?

go onto itunes and click "auto sync" or "manually sync" ?

Is the automaticly sync with ipod buttion ticked on the main ipod screen?

Make sure its ticked like this
