Mini Friday is a small research project on virtual worlds on mobile phones. We are trying to find out if real-time virtual worlds make sense on mobile devices.

It's owned by Sulake and has over 500,000 users already - and at time of writing this 692 were online - quite popular considering only Nokia users can use the service!

o wow, i didnt think anyone on here used XD. Its pretty cool coz its back to like how mobile disco was ages ago. I think soon they will introduce guest rooms and such (theres me hoping). But yh about 3 months ago my sisters contract ended, so there was a nokia phone availibleive got a sony erricson which dusent work :(. ) so i started using it in lessons XD. I got about 4 ppl in my lesson to get it. I would reccomend getting it if u have a compatible nokia phone availible. But im sure n sulake will open it up to other phone users.

So on 3, it's free.
But the rest... o2, vodafone etc you have to pay?
If you do, it's going to stop a lot of people playing...
Including me.
