First one no, the second one you need to attatch a cable to the plug.

Mixer > Computer would be a 1/4" to 3.5mm cable.

http://www.maxiaudio.co.uk/A120F-635mm_mono_jack_socket_to_2_x_635mm_jack_plugs_2m. html is what you'll need yes?
but im really getting stressed right now. i understand how my microphone plugs into the mixer ect but the cables needed to plug my mixer into my computer im really not understanding. how can you get 2 jacks in one cable? if its a 1/4 to 3.5mm to plug into the computer, what actually goes into the mixer the other end another 1/4? so theres a 1/4 cable in the mixer with another 1/4 the other side with a 3.5mm adapter?

http://www.maplin.co.uk/Module.aspx?TabID=1&ModuleNo=11422&doy=29m7 - Plug one end into your computer and on end into this:

http://www.maplin.co.uk/Module.aspx?TabID=1&ModuleNo=996&doy=29m7 - Then plug this into the mixer.

Plug it into one of the input ones (where you would plug a Mic in if it wasn't XLR)

Yeh, so you plug the mixer into the speaker port on the back of your computer, then plug speakers into the mixer :)

ah im sort of understanding it now... just a little. so i plug in 3.5mm to 1/4 into the where the non xlr mic would usually be. connect the other end to the back of my computer. also plug in my speakers into my mixer. so i go to play something on my computer it goes to my mixer then it goes to the speakers and plays... ah i understand. alsoy what would i need for speakers because they go into line in and they require 2x 1/4 or something like that dont they

Yeh, you would just wants a 3.5mm to 1/4" converter for the speakers unless you were going to go and buy proper ones :)

Are you playing off your PC, or recording onto your PC?
As you'd have the plug it into the Microhpone jack, not the speaker, if you're using it to record.

Hmm. I'm going to connect the mixer to the pc using line in 2x 1/4 to 1/4 then 1/4 to 3.5mm jack.

What do you mean? I'm plugging in my xlr condenser into my mixer so it records onto my computer

Well you plug it into the microphone port, not the audio.
You really don't understand English do you.
