Okie, So everyone knows theres hidden stuff in the movie.
Heres stuff I know:
There are 2 MONSTERS a mom/dad and a baby
(Baby is the one thats in central park and the mom/dad is the one in the streets)
When there making the video for the guy going to Japan:
The guy who is holding the camera who likes the girl who explodes, when hes making her to the goodbye video if you listen to the song in the back you hear the lyrics "Hes always looking for love but he won't pay attentin until SOMONE EXPLODES!" Sound familiar? :)
During the attack you see a ad for a drink called "Splusho" apparantly its satalite crashed into the ocean, If you look at the end of the movie if you look carfully you see it crashing in the ocean, This is what wakes up the monsters.
Anyway!
Post what you know,
Sorry for not putting up names, I forgot them all. :P
POST!

Horrible film.
I quite enjoyed Cloverfield actually.
Although the handycam was a bit annoying, still a good film.
You also forgot about the Oil Rig ;)

Horrible cliche-ridden piece of recycled garbage with not a percent of originality and a terrible cast and generally bad execution.

It's not ridden. I do agree that it was a terrible film but it deserves some, if little credit. The idea it being filmed by a victim made it more interesting, I think it's worth the watch as a different variety of film.

why do you always insult films and view your opinion higher than other peoples when it comes to movies? just because you spend your life watching and studying them doesn't make your opinion any different from anybody elses. i personally liked cloverfield and i'm looking forward to cheer 4 fear to do better than it .

An ingredient for one of think drinks, came from deep down on the ocean floor.. rumours suggest that the monster came from the ocean.
The woman who created slusho, was called "The Smallest Whale" at school. Whale also linking to the ocean.

Did'nt it also say the satalite crashed in the ocean and they drank the Slusho [sp?] and then they grew and grew and grew?

Well the effects of the ingredient are:
"accelerated cell growth, increased strength, increased soft muscle tissue growth, sharper eyesight better digestion, smoother skin, and a full-body, pleasant sensation that one of our researchers actually described as "a wave of pure happiness"
So that is one great possibility :)

I'm sure the majority would prefer Cloverfield to my film. For one, mine is a niche film for fans of the slasher sub-genre of horror, and unfortunately, I do not have a budget of $24M.
You would probably still be as harsh and negative if it weren't your own film.

When I write I write a film that I would like to see. I have written the script to a level that I am very happy with, and one which I would greatly like to see if the final product is as good as I believe it to be on paper. If I had nothing to do with my script and I read it purely as a third party, I would be very positive about it, and want to see it produced. So again, you are incorrect.
I wasnt incorrect in the first place.
Horrible film.
Jaws is and was a horrible film.

They obviously do; as does shortsightedness and unintelligence.
It's not an argument, personal opinion you downys.
