Basically my N95 is being gay. Everything functions alright, but when I go on applications and try click one, it doesn't load, I tried restart the phone etc, but it still doesn't work. When I try remove as well it says "Remove or not etc" I click yes, then it fades ish, and freezes until you restart it or something.

If anyone fixes this problem you get +REP x3 which is 9 points in total;)

Note: It's not the 8GB one.

Try reinstalling the firmware through the Nokia Software Updater.

I had something like that for me Sony Erricson and I took out my battery shook it a few times and it worked. Not sure if its a similar problem but just try it ya never know. (I dont think the shaking had anything to do with it jus take the battery out) :P

Taking the battery out will clear the Phone's RAM, so yeh, I agree with the guy above, it may help.

Surely it'd make more sense to take the battery out and try first? :P

Yeah ok, I've downloaded and I'll restart it later. Btw how long do I take it out?

30 seconds will do.

You don't need to restart, ignore that.

You should upgrade to 8GB becuase there are many faults with the old version hence why vodafone did a day were they called everyone and upgraded all the N95's, i know have a black N95 8GB that i have had for ages no problems but i did have problems with the old one :)

The N95 8GB is the same, just with a .2" bigger screen, NO camera cover, is slightly fatter, and has 8GB internal. Your better off keeping an N95 original and buying a 16GB card IMO.

Infact, the N95 original has improvements over the 8GB "behind the scenes" of the software.

Hmm yeah, good idea. Btw the two methods don't work:(

I think your phone might be water damaged. Most phones crack up when they are mixed with water. I had to buy a new phone today because when it was raining - I was on the phone. Even one drop of water could &*(@ up a phone. I'd have it checked by a professional or if you have the receipt take it back.

Nah, this can't be true, If I did put it in the rain, it was few months ago, and why would it affect it now?
