What should I get..

I really wish to waste my credit on a domain, as my paypal is bugged up.

I want to purchase a componenent domain (Youtube has ytimg.com, Google has gmodules.com myspace has msplinks.com)

But I wish to use mine for images, scripts, and other components,

I was thinking of getting;

nivadecomponents.com
or
nmodules.com

I know this may sound stupid, but what should I get.. :P

Why waste money on a new domain, when you can use subs though?

I really don't get why you are asking us these questions, and asking us what should be in your control panel, as it really is your site.. and you need to decide what is best.

The reason that Youtube, MySpace, and other sites like these have those domains, are because they are hosted off of their main servers, and on seperate servers to improve speed, as well as http requests to the server, and they can cache them longer.

It isn't making it neater at all.
I have a seperate hosting account which has unlimited bandwidth and 500gb (Not oversold) and I really don't wish to transfer Nivade again, especially at a time like this.. and I also don't like sub domains

Subdomains are really your way forward, its best to keep it all on the same hosting aswel for a site like yours, if one goes down you would loose functionality as you don't have a cluster/redundant servers that will be used when this happens, not that you would be able to code that this early in your coding learning stages.

Bit deep I know, but yea you get the idea. Even if you have the 2 domains on the same account, its just not logical and pretty stupid.

Sorry, but what is the point of this? An external domain & server is only useful for a site that has a high amount of traffic and bandwidth needs. Not for a small site.
