Why do lines close at 23:59 Thursday Night?

Voting closes at 23:59 on Thursday 31st July 08
I cant see a thread on this.


The lines are being closed early for administrative reasons, but I am told that this will not affect the outcome of the vote in any way - it will just be a shorter voting period than usual.

On the C4 website it says administrative reasons, so I imagine it's because so many people are up they need plenty of time to be sure the votes are counted correctly. Although I'm sure it doesn't take so long to count the votes! Maybe they're hiding something.

well it takes 10 minutes to count and check 3 peoples votes usually.
