You can't do downward expanding content boxes if the background image is a gradient, it's impossible to do without making the gradient look like ****.

since when box? Align the background image to the bottom with the background color as white.

background: url("fdsfddfs.jpg") no-repeat bottom #FFFFFF;

This should be in 'Free requests'.

Say you have a gradient that's 200px tall, but your box expands to 300px, you'd have 100px of white.

But the top is white.... so it wouldn't be noticed.

Yes you would, in your content box you'd see a block of white then a gradient underneath it.

No you wouldn't. Am I going to have to code this just to make a point now, jebus.

That would be why, I'm talking about if it had a lot of content and expanded a lot.

Wrong section, but.. Drop --ss--, a pm.
He used to code layouts free, in his spare time.
You might be lucky..

First time someone suggests me :P Yes, I do code. But only when I have time.

Meti doesn't, but I think he's learning.
I can code in expandable divs, expandable tables. But I'm getting better and better :)

Well what ever the color at the top of the gradiant is, the background needs to be that color. But yes, it would be a nightmare to code it :P
