Hi

I'm recieving a new processor to replace my 3.4ghz single core, and i'm wonering if it's any good?
Here it is > http://processorfinder.intel.com/details.aspx?sSpec=SLA95

Will it play FSX/FS2004 reasonably well if i also get the 8800gt 512mb, and 2gb RAM?

Thanks
Luke

FS2004 yes, but not even overclocked quad cores are any good with FSX at the moment on Ultra High. To be honest, for FS2004 you'd be better with your current CPU, but thats only because its oldish [FS04] and can only use 1 core.

You will probably see a loss in FS2004, but in most new other apps it will be better :P

Yeah that's pretty damn good, my laptop is a 1.8ghz and it runs fast so god knows what it'll be like for you! If you can overclock it a little, to like 2.6ghz then you'll know how you've been living in the past for so long. :P

What download Flight Simulator? You can get Microsoft Flight Simulator 2004 for like £10 these days. Just look around on ebay or something.
