To all of our fans,

We are sad to bring you the news that our upcoming shows in the UK (dates below) are going to be our last as a band. We thank you for all your love and support these past few years - its been a blast but the time has come for the 4 of us to go our separate ways.

22 August: Reading Festival - Reading, UK

25 August: Carling Academy 2 - Liverpool, UK

I can't cope seriously that's got to be some of the worst news I've ever read in my life and it might sound stupid to you but just imagine if you're favourite band split up :/

If my favourite band split up, I wouldn't care tbh, obviously i'd be slightly annoyed there would be no new music, but just look at this way, all the music they did make, was awesome.

(not saying that about your favourite band, as i've never heard of them)

they only had 2 full length albums though and they let out their latest album less than 5 months ago. it was just so unpredictable and i was expecting atleast a few more albums and loads more gigs to come.

when busted split up i was well pissed off, i loved busted as did every 10 year old kid at the time, i do have a favourite band atm and i'd be gutted if they split.

Never heard of them either.. Whats with all these **** names upcoming bands are naming themselves with? 'Be Your Own Pet' doesn't even come close to 'Westlife' or 'Blue' :S

joe lean and the jing jang jong have one of the most ridiculous band names i've ever heard but they still make amazing music imo.

I have a feeling they'll rejoin for some reason or another. I've heard of them, never listened to any of their songs buuuut, if they're like any other band they'll do the odd one or two reunion concerts together for old times sake.
