IT is in with Science, english and math in the got to do gcses
& i've moved into highest group in english so ill prob be starting that and everyones gonna expect alot outta me :(

i mean we have stupid year 7's who blame us for things that they do. like some yr 7 this year poked another in the eye ad we get blamed for it?
it's gonna be worse now cos we've got 2 years blaming us for stuff.

Year 9 is awesome at my school. my school is split into 2, across the roads is the year 10s,11s and sixth form and then theres the eyar 7s,8s + 9s. Year 9 was awesome coz we were the top of the school. all the tiny lil idiots followed us! :P Everything u mentioned was a piece of cake for me and the exams i didnt even care about. (call me gifted, but now i gotta work for my GCSEs). But now im in year 10, its all changed. Im the youngest again and i got proper GCSEs ;p

Year 9 wasn't so bad for me and like people always say, you can only do you best? Also at my school we HAVE to do a second language because my school is a language college. The more you get yourself worked up over it the more stressful it'll become. I wouldn't start worrying about it right now just enjoy the rest of your Summer. :)

if u do bad, u get put into a low GCSE group. If they see you are excelling there, they will probs move you up.

Whilst for me, they meant NOTHING AT ALL. Because they were late, my teachers put us in groups depending on what they thought we should get and on the overall year.

i know some of my friends who did gcse science this year (year 9) well my old year, i am going into year 10 all got the chance to do them again in year 10 if they did bad, but they all did great getting mostly top marks so yar
even if you do screw up you still have a second chance

and as for the language question, it changes in different schools and stuff. friends at other schools have to, where as at mine i didnt have to pick one, it all depends on your school : )

the most annoying thing about year 9 is the hype of the SATS when they actually mean nothing.

the only thing you should be worrying about is when you get to YR11 and then you better start to worry. :P

YR9 was intresting for me cept its a really piss year just like YR8 was.

Dont worry about your SATs, obviously try to do as well as you can but dont get too worried over them, they arent important at all so just chill. Year 10 is when you start actually having to worry :P
