Canada has a lot of resource's and if Canada wasn't there I'm sure America and other bits of the world wouldn't operate as well as they do.

Generally speaking the US doesn't have loads of oil hence the invasion of arabian countries in search of oil.

In terms of resources (Oil, so on) America wins. They have oil in Texas etc.
But in terms of military power, we are. We have the strongest and most trained army in the world, and also the best trained special forces (SAS).
