Hey this is my new york city room. A lot of people have seen it over the years and have liked it due to its hard, and in some places impossible stacking. In the middle if the room you can see the tall skyscraper (the one with the trophy). This was not made using roller stacking, but in fact zshelf stacking, which older school habbos would even find difficult doing in that part of the room. The one feature that makes it impossible in this version of habbo though is the stacking on top of the area bar. Not only are they stacked on top of the bar, but there is an illusion that the building starts on the second row in, where it actually starts on the first one. The difficult aspect is that the area bar is stacked on top of 2 black doormats in order to create the illusion of a road below the building...
well I thought it was interesting! Rate out of 10 please? and be sure to stop in :D
ALSO los angeles coming soon.
P.s. the giant thing that looks like an apple is in fact a "big apple" which is the nickname for new york city for all you London blokes.

Very nice room design, but i just dont think that stacking is as hard as u say it is. The skyscraper can easily be acheived through fairly well known methods.

All that could still be done but the doormats under the area bars would need to be a disc high, so there would be a small gap :)
Nice room, good luck with los angeles :D

its okay hehe, im not forcing you to like it xP...
also, I need some advice, would a moodlight + night time add the illusion of space to the room? i.e. the wall above the american flag?
I made it so long ago, I never thought about the mood light.

"Stacking stacking stacking stacking".
I dont want to be rude but stacking isn't that difficult, and you make a very big deal out of it when in all honesty it is easier than you are making it out to be. :)
With that aside, it still looks very impressive so well done :P

Today, yes, back then no. Stacking like that using v9 methods was very difficult. obvs with rollers today, it's no issue but he's done a great job there.
Room looks really good too. :D

why thanks :D
so far concepts for L.A. have been a blast, but its going to be hard to look convincing to UKers who might not know the land marks as well as NYC.
Hopefully they played GTA x{
Thats a really good room 10/10

Try other countries as well as other states? Anyway its awesome, I like how you done the empire state (if it is the empire state :D) but its cool. Flags the best bit of the room I think. I dont understand the pods on the right :P Anyway cool.
Also statue of liberty was a good idea :P Easy but good.

I'm not trying be offensive here, or obnoctious(sp?) but where about's is the impossible stacking? Does it refer to things being impossible back then, or more interestingly, impossible now?
I would vmuch like to try said impossible things. :eusa_whis

replicate the room exactly if you want a challenge. Back in the day I used a roller to roll together a zshelf and doormat, then used mode "down-stacking" with prezzies in the back. I think it would now need to be propped up. Also if for some reason this is still 100% possiblepretend the building is impossible to stack solely bc you can't get another silver habbo trophy from Dionysus xD

Il admit that for most people who know how to stack (flat + casino + bars) it would be somewhat of a challenge to redo, but nothing in it is actually impossible. I can prove if you like but ill do it tomorrow cause I cba atm. <:I
Love ur comment bout the trophy aswell, lolol.

this is by far my best work. I'm still amazed by it, I find it really hard to believe I put so much effort and creativity into this room.
To top the room off, I MAY change the big apple into the chrystler building by request, but it looks so similar to the empire state I may not bother.
You're good at making rooms aren't you :P

You should just do a landmark from a city, and spend a lot of time on it, like the Patronus Towers in Thailand, i'm sure it's only been done once before and even then it was made with Purple pillows if memory serves... ;)
& 800th post cos dats a milestone for me <:I

You should consider doing big scale rooms with illusions. They always go down well :)

I like small rooms because of the detail.
Im more of a classical guy, I wouldnt know where to start with a v9 room. I know the diagonals cause illusions of Height, but id have to play with it before I do anything.
