I'm going in to sixth form in September, and I don't have enough time to do 3 grades... Is it better going from 6 - 8 or skipping 6 and doing 7 and 8?
I did grade 5 ages ago, but my teacher says grade 6 is a bit easy for me so a bit of a waste of time.

If I were you, I would forget 6 and 7 and just skip straight to grade 8. If you find grade 6 too easy, there's no point taking it, and the gap in difficulty between grades 7 and 8 won't be too big. When I played the trumpet, I was in a similar situation, and decided to skip to grade 8. Technically, grade 8 wasn't much harder than grade 7, but the pieces were longer and required more stamina. I'm assuming the grades on the saxophone will be similar. You've got 2 years, which is plenty of time to prepare, and if you fail, you'll have time to try again.
