New Forum Changes & Habbox Staff Awards

We will be introducing two new skins. One will be the new site skin which will be replacing the current site skin. The new site skin is very impressive and I am very happy with the work Joshuar has put into it and cannot wait till it's public.

We will also be introducing a light skin for mobile users. This has been requested many times in the past and we feel it's time to invest some time in it so people can use Habbox forum on the go as well as at home on their PCs :).

We will be introducing the support system very shortly as we have ironed out the problems we ran into. The support system will be a trial and error sort of thing as it is the first time we try anything like this and first time for any Habbo fansite to try.

We will be removing the blog addon as it has not been used and simply a waste of space in the nav area. If you have any blogs you want to save, please do take the time to save them.

We will be further promoting the chat as we feel this is something that can really bring members together even though it hasn't been a great success as of yet.

We are going to be making a few forum changes, merging forums together as we have quite a few forums that are simply not active enough to remain. We will be introducing an Olympics forum on Thursday just in time for the Olympics.

The spoiler rule will be removed and we will be making it optional to use spoiler tags. We will be introducing spoiler prefixes in the entertainment forums were appropriate so spoiler tags do not have to be used throughout the threads with many spoilers.

We will be introducing a new rank in the promotion system as many users have currently made it to the top of the ranks so it's time to give them a new challenge ;).

VVIP will be renamed to VIP+ as voted by the current VVIPs.

We will be paying particular attention to the arcade, updating it with new games and setting up some tournaments with prizes up for grabs.

We will be updating some forum descriptions and also fixing the user notes link displayed to users with infractions.

We will also be setting up a few polls to see what everyone thinks about certain things such as forum moderation.


These are really good changes which will benefit the forum a lot. It's good to see feedback being responded too. :) Looking forward to them being implemented. Thanks to all the staff involved in working towards them.

Also well done to all the staff in the Habbox Staff Awards. Especially ,Jess, because she has always responded quickly when I've needed help and she is online a lot :)

I've started to get used to it and can't be bothered with the whole blogspot rubbish. I generally read others from time to time, but I guess this would have to be a group decision as one man's word won't be strong enough.
